To support the development of Polyurethanes use in Syria, we decided in 2001 to invest in segments of the Polyurethanes Processing Industries which were underserved. The sector indentified was the following:

Background & Profile:
As part of our forward integration strategy in Polyurethanes we decided in 1999 to establish a continuous line for the production of Flexible Foam. The line was commissioned by Cannon Viking in early 2001. This is the only line in the Levant area which uses self generated carbon dioxide as blowing agent instead of the standard ozone depleting gases such as R11 or harmful solvents such as methylene Chloride. The plant is also equipped with a modern set of horizontal; vertical; cnc; and rolls cutting equipment.
In line with remaining ecologically friendly we established in 2003 a recycling plant to manufacture re-bonded flexible foam from scrap foams.
Our Flexible foam is marketed through-out the Syrian Arab Republic though a network of more than 150 distributors and retailers as well as a two company owned integrated cutting and distribution centers in Allepo and Ma'ara.
